For me Yoga has been a journey of self discovery and it helped me to be in harmony with the world, and that’s how I want to transmit it to others. The practice of asanas connects us with the present, with our physic and mental reality, it makes us aware of the circumstances we are living and give us the choice to live them from a new perspective. By focusing the attention on the breath we can learn to relax the body, to clarify the mind, to observe and canalize our emotions. I work in my classes on these three levels. The aim is to expand the practice of Yoga to daily life, so that we are living Yoga not only on the mat but in every situation in our life.
I have been practicing yoga since I was sixteen passing through different styles deepening in comprehension of asanas through Iyengar Yoga. Looking for integrate the flowing movement in Dynamic Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, and studied with various teachers in Spain and outwards, and I am deeply grateful for their teachings: Swami Digambarananda Saraswati, Yogamata Madalasa, Blandine Calais-Germain, Nuria Vives, Silvia Jaen, Godfrey Devereux, Yogacharini Pandit Emy Blesio Gayatri Devi, Shankara
As human is treated in a holistic way in Yoga I investigated also the psychological aspects studying different meditations techniques following the lineage of Satyandanda and integrate this in my classes through Yoga Nidra and singing of mantras.
