In this workshop we will learn how to use hatha yoga techniques as a path to realizing our full mental, physical and spiritual power. Inspired by the energy ofShiva and Shakti. We will concentrate on demystifying terms and concepts to reveal how an ancient practice is still modern, relevant and practical to our lives today. We will also focus on the principal of Shakti and why the ancient teachers emphasized and embraced the feminine principal as a way of connecting to our own positive, dynamic, and creative forces.

This workshop is for all levels, open to students that want to deepen and inspire their yoga practice you will leave feeling refreshed and balanced. The practices are designed to create internal space for peace, wisdom, and radiance.

The workshop will include several yoga practices:

• Asana: physical postures
• Pranayama: breathwork and breath control
• Mudra: energetic seals and gestures
• Mantra: vibrational sound and healing
• Active and creative visualizations
• Stillness meditation
• Study of texts and group discussion
   

About the teacher:

Diego del Sol is based in San Francisco, where he has been voted several times as one of the favourite and best yoga teachers. Diego's teaching and practices are created from a meaningful and insightful array of sources, Diego views Yoga as the art of life and is continually studying and evolving his practice and teachings. For Diego, Yoga has always been one art and he has viewed the different approaches, styles and lineages as parts of a whole. Even, healing arts such as Tai Chi and Chi Gung, wich are usually considered different arts, are at heart the same as Yoga. The language may be different, but the principles are the same as truth and reality are also one. Diego practices and teaches in a way thal allows for all the healing and empowering aspects of Yoga to come alive in students. And for the experience to become the teacher. He uses language that is easily accessible and has a gift for enabling students to find inner peace and the radiant vitality of balance, strength and joy. Diego's main inspiration comes from: Sivandanda, Rumi, Lao Tsu, Krishnamurti, Osho, Patanjali, Buddha and others.
